Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of medsurg experience.

Details

• Float Pool position within a hospital setting, floating between medsurg and telemetry units
• 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Medsurg ratios are 5:1 (7a-11p) and 6:1 (11p-7a)
• Telemetry ratios are 4:1 (7a-11p) and 5:1 (11p-7a)
• Self-scheduling process managed by the unit

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Required vaccines include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across medsurg and telemetry units as needed
• Only one holiday time-off request will be accepted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not permitted for this position
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
