Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift float pool position requiring MA licensure and 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.

Details

  • Float pool position within a hospital setting
  • Will float to all Med/Surg Telemetry floors and like units/overflow areas as needed
  • 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  • Weekends and holidays expected

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Current AHA ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
  • Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam and dysrhythmia/medication test during onboarding with only one attempt allowed (85% passing score, no remediation)
  • Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths required
  • Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Biweekly orientation schedule
  • Must complete dysrhythmia and medication testing via Zoom within 48 hours of offer, so candidates should prepare using the provided study guide
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
  • Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month separation from any BILH facility before returning
  • RTO requests and interview availability must be presented at time of consideration
