• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Float: May float to related units caring for the same adult patient population
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
• 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty preferred/required for consideration
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring
• Must successfully complete safeMedicate and ECG rhythm recognition testing during orientation
• Ability to provide a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the last 12 months
• Must be available for rotating shift coverage as needed
• Willingness to comply with pre-start requirements and facility onboarding expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Support unit flow and assist with floating to comparable units as needed
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication in a dynamic acute care hospital environment
