Travel RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 23, 2026
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Times: Days, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Shift Pattern: Rotating day and night shifts based on operational needs
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential floating to comparable patient populations and the Emergency Department
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday

Med/Surg Tele RN Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent permanent Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Demonstrated competency in ECG rhythm recognition, telemetry monitoring, and safe medication administration
• Ability to successfully complete required orientation assessments
• Professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty and from the past 12 months
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, prioritization, and teamwork skills

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize clinical changes, and promptly escalate concerns
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, complete treatments, and evaluate patient responses
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
• Float to other units serving similar patient populations, including the Emergency Department, when operationally necessary
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards throughout the assignment
