Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13 to 18 week contract options available

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Open background check cases or professional license hits will not be accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
