Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) rotating shifts. Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care at our facility. The RN will have the potential to float to various units, including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, to care for patients with similar medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
• Support patients and their families by providing education and emotional support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required at the time of submission.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments preferred.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required. No co-worker references will be considered.
