Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This position is for a Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) providing care in a hospital setting. The primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the overall healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)

Responsibilities

The Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress and conditions.
• Assisting with patient assessments and care plans.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide optimal care.
• Educating patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or to be obtained prior to start.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

The facility can accommodate scheduling requests for 48 hours per week. Candidates are encouraged to specify availability during the submission process.
