PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Registered Nurse - Med Surg | Travel | Milwaukee, WI
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Med Surg unit in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves providing care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those on ventilators. Experience with telemetry is required, and the ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing ventilated patients and possess strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2268 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Weekend rotation: Every other
- Holiday Expectations: One holiday per contract
- Parking: Main Structure is free
Responsibilities
- Manage and care for vented patients, with support from RTs
- Perform wound and surgical/post-op care
- Initiate IVs and manage wound vacs, PEG tubes, tube feedings, and TPN
- Provide trach care and ensure telemetry monitoring
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS Certification
- Experience with wound care, surgical/post-op care, and IV start skills
- Vent experience, with willingness to take a 3-hour class and 12-hour orientation focused on vent patient care
- Charge experience and comfort in performing charge duties
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
