Registered Nurse - Med Surg | Travel | Milwaukee, WI

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med Surg unit in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Ideal candidates will be comfortable managing vented patients and possess strong wound care, surgical, and telemetry skills. Join a dynamic team with great communication and teamwork.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Assignment Length: Not specified
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2268 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating: Required to float to all other MSU and ED holding
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday Expectations: One holiday per contract

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and surgical/post-op care
• Administer and oversee IV therapies and TPN
• Perform trach care; manage chronic trachs and ventilators
• Monitor telemetry
• Document pain levels accurately per protocol

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience
• Experience with ventilators
• Charge experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Skills in wound care, surgical/post-op care, IV starts, and telemetry
