Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or Med-Surg Tele nursing
- Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred for telemetry and acute care environments
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the last 12 months
- All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission
- Must be able to complete orientation requirements and facility competency assessments
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and provider orders
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient updates clearly and professionally
- Support a fast-paced, team-oriented acute care unit with strong clinical judgment and professionalism
