Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Current permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred or required per unit expectations
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
- Must complete required compliance steps prior to start, including orientation assessments and pre-start modules
- Ability to work night shift and provide dependable, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately in the patient record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support treatment plans
- Prioritize patient needs, manage a steady assignment, and maintain strong clinical attention to detail
- Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and compassionate care
- Follow hospital standards, safety protocols, and unit-based procedures
