Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or compact license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred/required per unit needs
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at submission
• Must be able to complete required onboarding assessments during orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards and provider orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient care goals
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Deliver compassionate patient education and support throughout the care process
• Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a fast-paced clinical setting
