Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from within the past 12 months
• Must be available for night shifts and able to complete required onboarding assessments during orientation
• All required credentials must be active and unexpired at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and carry out physician orders safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Document patient care, clinical updates, and interventions clearly and consistently in the medical record
• Respond quickly to clinical changes while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality care
