Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Resource Pool position requiring float availability across multiple units and a compact or Iowa RN license.

Details

• Resource Pool position requiring float coverage to Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units
• May be required to float to the West Lakes Campus, approximately 9.5 miles from the downtown campus
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• 24-hour notice of block off (NBO) is waived

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification required for RNs working in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, or SICU
• TNCC certification may be required
• License verification dated within 30 days of start required, with NURSYS verification for RN license

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across multiple med-surg specialty units as part of a resource pool team
• Local candidates accepted for RNs residing in CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, or PA
• COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration
