Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on the 9 South Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Care for post-procedural patients staying 1-3 nights after surgery
• Also cares for cath lab patients and occasional ER overflow
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• May be required to work up to 3 Saturdays per 6-week schedule period
• Unit is closed on Sundays
• Holiday coverage assessed individually based on surgical volumes and may be required
• 26-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to post-surgical, cath lab, and occasional ER overflow patients on a telemetry unit
• Local candidates accepted in select states including CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA
