Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift hospital position requiring at least one year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Background check must be clear of any open cases
• No hits accepted on professional license
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within 1 year of their previous end date
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, requiring a passing score within 2 attempts
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
