PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Albemarie, North Carolina.

RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Albemarle, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele assignment. This role involves providing care in a facility with 27 beds and an average census of 20. Ideal candidates will have at least 18 months of Med/Tele experience and be familiar with common diagnoses such as stroke, COPD, and chest pain. The unit maintains a supportive, team-driven culture.

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Floating: Required within region and scope of practice
  • Orientation: 2 days departmental
  • Navy Blue scrubs
  • Free parking available

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with stroke, COPD, chest pain, altered mental status, and GI bleed
  • Administer medications and manage IV pumps
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and perform NIH assessments
  • Conduct PIV starts and trach care
  • Handle chest tube management and drain/tube management

Qualifications

Required:

  • 18 months of Med/Tele experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • General Med/Tele skillset

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
