Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
• Reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete required pre-start compliance items and orientation assessments
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Local candidates are welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition
• Complete thorough nursing assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient outcomes
• Respond quickly to patient needs and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient flow during the night shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused care environment
• Follow all unit protocols, safety practices, and compliance requirements
