Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg/Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Patient ratios: RN 1:4-6, LPN 1:4-6, CNA up to 1:14
• Required skills include tracheostomy care, chest tube management, peripheral IV starts, and glucometer use
• Must be proficient in all cardiac drips including insulin drips, heparin drips, and drips titrated to heart rate
• Float pool capacity required - will float to all Med/Tele units in house as needed
• EMR system: EPIC
• IV Pump: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Monitors: Phillips
• Unit-specific equipment includes VS3 vital sign monitors and Nova Glucose Stat Strips
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred - EKG competency exam required during onboarding
• Med/Surg certification is a plus
• Scrub color: Navy blue for RNs
• Support staff available including CNAs, unit secretary, charge nurse, resource nurse, RT 24/7, hospitalist 24/7, and intensivist 24/7

Facility:

This facility is a 637-licensed-bed hospital holding a Level 1 Trauma Designation and operating as a teaching hospital. The facility includes a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center, reflecting its commitment to comprehensive, high-acuity patient care. Each Med/Surg unit contains between 20 and 36 beds and maintains a team-oriented, busy culture with robust departmental support including a PICC team, discharge nurses, and a resource team that floats to all units.
