• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry
• Unit Highlights: 8 inpatient beds with an admission unit that can flex based on census
• Charting System: Meditech electronic health record (EHR)
• Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of acute care med/surg experience within the last year
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time in a telemetry nursing environment
• Telemetry RN or med/surg background preferred
• Ortho or neuro-surgery experience is a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Friendly, positive, patient-centered approach to bedside nursing care

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and carry out physician orders accurately
• Perform standard nursing skills such as IV insertions and urinary catheter care
• Maintain and monitor central lines as needed
• Document patient care thoroughly in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, PCAs, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support safe, efficient patient flow while delivering excellent bedside care
