• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Orientation: 8 hours of orientation plus unit onboarding
• Schedule Notes: 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
• Floating: May float to other medical units as needed
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA
• At least 1.5 years of Level I, Level II, or tertiary care experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a large hospital setting (450+ beds)
• Strong medical-surgical nursing background with excellent assessment and communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care environment
• Experience with travel nursing or Med/Surg RN assignments preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Complete assessments, care planning, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Support patients with chronic illness, infection, neurological conditions, and post-procedure recovery
• Manage IV therapy, heparin and insulin drips, feeding tubes, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Use Epic, Pyxis, IV pumps, telemetry, and bedside glucose equipment effectively
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes
• Deliver compassionate bedside care while maintaining strong documentation and patient safety standards
