• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Floating: May float to other medical units as needed

• Orientation: Structured hospital orientation, nursing orientation, and Epic training

Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license eligible in Indiana
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a large hospital setting (450+ beds)
• Strong Med/Surg clinical background and comfort caring for complex, mixed-acuity patients
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend scheduling as needed
• Comfort with Epic charting and common acute-care equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Complete assessments, care planning, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer and manage IV therapy, heparin drips, insulin drips, and related interventions
• Support patients with wound vacs, feeding tubes, feeding pumps, chest tubes, and telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated care
• Use Epic and unit equipment including Pyxis, Accucheck, Hospira IV pumps, SCDs, and temperature therapy devices
• Care for patients with respiratory, GI, infectious, neurologic, and post-procedure needs
• Maintain safe, efficient, and compassionate care while adapting to changing unit priorities
