• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Orientation: Jump Start orientation with hospital orientation, nursing orientation, and Epic training

Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a large hospital setting with 450+ beds
• Strong med-surg clinical skills and comfort floating to other medical units as needed
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
• Manage IV therapy, wound vacs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, heparin drips, and insulin drips
• Use clinical equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry monitoring, SCDs, Pyxis machines, and blood glucose monitoring systems
• Care for patients with chronic illnesses, infections, neurological conditions, and post-procedure recovery needs
• Float to other medical units based on patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices
