Assignment Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a MedSurg unit in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MedSurg, with the ability to manage a variety of patient diagnoses. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the MedSurg unit
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • 1 Year MedSurg experience
  • Ability to manage a 1:5 to 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Understanding that the facility is a Drug-Free Campus and ability to produce a negative drug screen for all panels
