Assignment Overview

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the MedSurg unit in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in MedSurg, be comfortable with varying patient ratios, and possess strong clinical skills.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: Not Provided
  • Shift: 12-hour nights (7A-7P/7P-7A)
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
  • Floating Requirements: ICU, ER, or BHC experience required if floating; otherwise, no float required out of MedSurg
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2538 (negotiable)

  • Local Candidate Policy: Reduced local rate within 50 miles

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Sign off on telemetry strips throughout shifts

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or proof of application for license
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • 1 year of MedSurg experience
  • Negative drug screen
