Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience and a compact or AL RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• 48hr/wk scheduling requests can be accommodated
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Candidates with pending ACLS may be considered if certification is obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Requests for time off must be less than one week in duration
