Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring 18 months of experience, GA or compact license, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in the General Medicine unit of a hospital setting
• Telemetry patient population
• Uses Epic EMR
• AM shift schedule, 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience with IV insertion and PICC lines required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care including monitoring and managing cardiac patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory employees must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
