**Exciting Opportunity: Travel RN - Telemetry (620) - 7A-7P** **Job Description:** - **Start Date:** 12/14 - **Location:** Overland Park, Kansas - **Unit:** Med Tele - **Number of Beds:** 25 - **Patient Ratios:** 4-5:1 **Unit Highlights:** - Focused on safety and quality with high expectations for documentation compliance. - Provides care primarily for renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patients. - Strong teamwork environment supported by charge nurses and unit techs. **Equipment Utilized:** - EKG, bladder scanner, sit-to-stand, hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, Pyxis. **Documentation System:** - Meditech - EBCD **Scheduling Details:** - 48 hours guaranteed preferred. - Requires at least every 3rd weekend and 3 shifts per week. **Floating Policy:** - Flexible floating to like units (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab). **Patient Experience Focus:** - Commitment to patient interactions through 2X2’s: 1) Nurse Explain 2) Nurse Courtesy and Respect. - Conduct of daily Nurse Leader Rounds to ensure patient connection and care quality. **Unit Certifications:** - CP Center, Primary Stroke Center, Colorectal COE, Bariatric COE, Ortho Certified. **Candidate Requirements:** - **Must Have:** ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. - **Advanced Skills Needed:** Basic med-surg procedures. **Dress Code:** - Royal blue scrub tops, royal blue or black pants. - Grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirt. **Why Choose This Unit?** - Unencumbered charge nurse and clinical educator support. - Team-oriented environment renowned for robotic surgeries. - Unique opportunity as the only hospital in the region with a new urology robot. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
