- Setting: High-acuity Med/Surg floor / Respiratory Care Unit
- Patient Focus: Adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients with complex diagnoses
Job Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN or Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- Experience with Cerner preferred, but not required
- Ability to complete a dysrhythmia exam during onboarding
- Updated resume with relevant Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
- Skills checklist matching specialty requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs
- Care for patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, wounds, and end-of-life needs
- Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Support a patient ratio of approximately 1:5, occasionally 1:6
- Float as needed to nearby affiliated units within the same health system
- Deliver compassionate care while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
