Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
  • Perform IV insertions and PICC line management as part of routine patient care
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

  • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
  • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line care
  • Experience with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a high-acuity telemetry or step-down unit
  • Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
