Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Job Details:
• Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts with possible accommodation for straight nights
• 4 weekend shifts required per contract
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7 for days, nights, and weekends
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs as needed
• 27 rooms and 34 beds on unit
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include medical non-monitored conditions
• Special procedures include post-op joint replacement, post-op weight loss management surgery, and post-op general surgery
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• PA or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission and is subject to unit needs
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Key skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care/management, heparin, insulin, IV management, and use of rapid response/code teams
Facility:
This medical-surgical facility operates a 34-bed unit supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial staff. The unit specializes in post-operative care including joint replacement, weight loss management surgery, and general surgery, providing a well-rounded and dynamic clinical environment for medical-surgical nurses.
