Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift travel position requiring 18 months of experience and a Georgia or Compact RN license.

Details

• Position based in the internal float pool handling ED border patients within specialty
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s totaling 36 hours per week with a 30 minute meal break
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float requirement between Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale as needed, primarily at Decatur, within a 15-mile radius and within specialty
• Traveler will be notified of work location prior to each shift

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent experience required
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Care for ED border patients within specialty as primary responsibility
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as no local candidates are accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Time off requests must be submitted upfront
• Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request permitted per assignment
