Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in an Inpatient Rehab Unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and BLS/NIHSS certification.

Details

  • Inpatient Rehab Unit within a hospital setting
  • AM shift with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact) required in hand
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications required to start
  • Minimum 18 months of recent nursing experience required

Additional Information

  • Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if it does, with only 1 holiday request allowed
