Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel contract requiring at least 18 months of relevant experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week travel contract on the Internal Float Pool unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• May handle ED border patients within their specialty
• Floating required between two Emory facilities as needed, primarily at the main facility, with float assignments kept within specialty
• Assigned work location communicated in advance of each shift

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of relevant RN experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Strict RTO policies apply, with all time off requests needed upfront
• Maximum of 5 days RTO allowed if not falling on or near a holiday, reduced to 3 days if near a holiday
• Only one holiday request permitted per contract
• Former Emory or Houston system employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
