Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the SurgOnc/Gyn/Uro unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Available start dates every Monday
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg experience within the past 3 years
• Strong wound care experience required
• Experience with epidurals required
• Experience with insulin drips required
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide Med/Surg nursing care on a Surgical Oncology/Gynecology/Urology unit
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Requested time off limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday time-off request permitted per assignment
