Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Med/Surg for an ENT unit role requiring surgical nursing skills and tracheostomy/laryngectomy care experience.

Details

• ENT unit caring for general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head/neck surgery patients
• Patients include those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of recent nursing experience required
• Skilled surgical nursing background required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to surgical ENT patients including trach and laryngectomy management
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former employees of the health system must be separated for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if on/near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
