Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Med/Surg for a night shift position requiring 18 months of Med/Surg experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical/Surgical unit with 18 beds
- Primarily medical patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:5-6
- Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses EPIC charting system
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg experience required
- IV and PICC line experience required
Additional Information
- Care for medical/surgical patients with IV and PICC line needs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not permitted
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
