Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a TN or compact RN license and Med/Surg experience.

Details

• 13-week travel assignment in a Medical Surgical Combination unit at a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36-hour weekly guaranteed hours with every other weekend or as-needed weekend work
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 12-bed unit with 6:1 patient ratios
• Uses Meditech EHR
• May float to other Med Surg units as needed
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med Surg required, 2+ years preferred
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg patients
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual attire not permitted
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
