Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring KY or compact RN licensure and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• 107-bed Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital setting
• Med/Surg Combination unit located on 3rd and 4th floors with 57 beds
• Serves all ages with common diagnoses including COPD, post-op joint patients, and diabetic population
• Patient ratios up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Uses MediTech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, with on-call as needed
• Floating to like units possible as needed

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI/HWC/MAB certification required
• 1+ years of RN experience required
• Kentucky RN licensure/education requirements must be met

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients including post-op joint, COPD, and diabetic cases
• Supervised by the Med Surg Director
• Candidates should be kind, caring, and compassionate
• Scrubs of any color accepted; branded attire from other facilities not permitted
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
