Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of med/surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
Patient ratio of 1:6
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Rotating weekend requirement with every other weekend coverage
Floating required
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of med/surg nursing experience required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Active Nursys license verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

Deliver medical-surgical nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population
Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the role
Royal blue scrub color required
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
