Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of med/surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

Med-Surg unit within a hospital setting
18-bed unit with adult and geriatric patient population
Patient ratio of 1:6
Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Rotating weekend requirement (every other weekend)
No on-call requirements
Floating required
Uses Meditech EHR

Requirements

Active RN license (AL state or compact) currently in hand
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
AHA certifications required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Active Nursys/licensure status required at time of consideration

Additional Information

Team-oriented environment seeking a candidate willing to take ownership of the role
Royal blue scrub color required
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
Weekly Monday orientations provided
