Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active AL or compact RN license and prior med/surg experience.

Details

• Work on an 18-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit within a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Uses Meditech EHR
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating and every-other-weekend requirements
• Floating required
• No call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 5 years preferred
• Med/surg unit experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric med/surg patients
• Team player mentality with willingness to take ownership of the role
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
