Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and provide dependable patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care environment
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain a professional, compassionate presence throughout every shift
