Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS required; candidates may be considered with pending ACLS if obtained before start
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and maintain strong clinical focus
• Travel candidates should have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient bedside care to Med/Surg patients
• Perform patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Accurately document nursing care and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and smooth transitions of care
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment
