Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS required before start date; candidates with pending ACLS may be considered
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide dependable, team-oriented care

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and communicate updates promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to coordinate care
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a busy acute care environment
