Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Ortho RN for an evening shift position requiring 2+ years of recent experience and AL or compact RN licensure.

Details

Med/Surg Ortho unit specializing in post-op surgical patients
30-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
PM shift from 18:45 to 07:15
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Floating required as needed
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active AL or compact RN license required
BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
Strong time management, positive attitude, and reliable attendance required
Preferred experience in Med/Surg, orthopedics, or post-op care

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to post-operative orthopedic and surgical patients in a fast-paced environment
Bedside shift report required
Navy scrubs required
Fake, gel, wrapped, or dipped nails are not permitted
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Quick thinking, confidence, and a strong work ethic are valued in this role
