Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Orthopedic/Spine

Position Description

This role requires a Registered Nurse with a strong background in orthopedic nursing. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

General Information

Unit Specifics

  • Number of Beds: 26
  • Patient Ratios: 6:1
  • Unit Staffing Description: Includes unit secretaries, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and a Navigator.
  • Type of Equipment: Coolers, walkers, Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs), Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) devices.
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
  • Floating Policy: Rotational floating policy
  • Patient Experience Goals: 72%

Procedures Performed on Unit

  • Knee and Hip replacements
  • Multi-level spine surgeries

Qualifications
