Job Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification required at time of submission
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in a night-shift, team-oriented acute care environment
• AHCA compliance required for Florida travel nursing placements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients during the night shift
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and consistently
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing standards
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Support unit workflow while adapting to a flexible rotating or block weekend schedule
