Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in a medical-surgical unit. The role is focused on providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Shift Details

This position offers a day shift schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must obtain prior to start).
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Must have a permanent address located 50 or more miles from the facility.

Location

This position is available in Flowers Hospital, located in Dothan, AL.

Additional Information

The facility can accommodate requests for scheduling up to 48 hours per week.
