Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a clinic setting, requiring ARRT-R and ARRT-M certification along with an active OR radiologic technologist license.

Details

Outpatient imaging clinic setting
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Performs diagnostic and screening mammograms as ordered
Assists radiologist with intricate mammography exams, including breast biopsies

Requirements

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required
Experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
ARRT-R certification required
ARRT-M certification required in OR
OBMI Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
BLS certification from an approved vendor required

Additional Information

Provides patient education while promoting privacy and comfort
Follows infection control and safety guidelines
Produces high quality films for radiologist evaluation and completes appropriate documentation
Obtains patient information and disseminates preparation instructions to patient care areas
Elevates questions or challenges to senior staff as needed
Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
